The Easiest New Year's Resolution

It's that time of year, time for New Year's Resolutions or a term we like to say, New Year's Intentions. Whatever you choose to call them, they can be hard. Hard to decide on what to resolve and hard to keep them. But we've found the easiest one, 52 Weeks of a Good Thing.

2020 marks year 3 of our 52 Weeks of a Good Thing, that's right this resolution started in 2018. And like we said, it's the easiest resolution to keep. Once a week you write down the 'Good Thing' from that week. Then, at the end of the year you read through them all and reflect. It's a great way to wrap up the year and start a new one... with gratitude.

In 2019, we added a twist, now it may be a little hippy dippy but we don't care! Rather than tossing those memories away in the trash, we burned them (in the fireplace). I mean, why not release all that positivity into the universe, right?! Now obviously, you don'y need to add this step. It just felt very fitting to us.

As for some of our cherished memories from 2019...

  • The 1st annual Wine Country Distillery Festival!!!!

  • Celebrating the passing of my mother with a 'Gailabration' - a party she would have loved

  • Traveling to Italy

  • Saying "Yes to the Dress"!

  • Adopting Maggie

However you choose to keep a 'Good Thing' in your life, we hope you have a great year!

Happy New Year - Poppy & Vine
