In a year like 2020, we needed every bit of a 'Good Thing' to keep us going. Yes, some days, weeks, and months were way harder than others. But we stilled filled that jar and on January 1st, 2021 we read them all. We laughed, cried, and started the New Year extra grateful to have made it to the other side, of what can only be described as one of the most harrowing years in recent history.

So as we reflect on 2020 and finalize our 2021 resolutions, goals, and intentions (yes we're 5 days into the new year, it's fine), we suggest giving '52 weeks of a Good Thing' a try! We've said it before and we'll say it again. This is by far the easiest intention to keep. Giving us weekly reminders of what we love and are grateful for.
Here's what you need:
A vase or jar - something you can get your hand in
2x2 sticky notes, scratch paper, any paper is fine
A dedicated pen - we all have a favorite pen
A convenient location - One you pass regularly, like an entry side table
Then once a week, write down a good thing that happened, something you are grateful for or made you smile, anything. At the end of 52 weeks or more ideally on NYE or NYD, pour them all out, read them at random and then release that positive energy into the universe (burn baby burn)!
While we've already written our first great memory of 2021, here are a few of our cherished memories from crazy 2020...
The 2nd annual Wine Country Distillery Festival (Feb 2020)
We welcomed 3 babies into our friends who are family pod
My little sister got married
My SIL got engaged
We made it through various 'Stay at Home' orders
Whatever 2021 may hold, we hope it's filled with love, health, prosperity, and lots of 'good things'.
